Columbia Threadneedle to rebrand managed fund range

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has announced it will change the names on six of its funds, including CIO Mark Burgess' £1.3bn Equity & Bond fund, as of next month.

The six vehicles are part of the group's managed fund range and amount to over £2bn worth of assets under management. They include the £1.3bn Threadneedle Equity & Bond fund, which is co-managed by Alex Lyle and Burgess (pictured), and which will change its name to Threadneedle Managed Equity & Bond fund. Also managed by Lyle and Burgess, the £720m Global Equity & Bond fund will be renamed the Managed Equity Focused fund while the £350m Global Equity fund will be called Managed Equity fund.
