Allianz GI's Thomas joins Sarasin as head of global equities

Sarasin & Partners has appointed Jeremy Thomas from Allianz Global Investors as head of global equities.

Thomas (pictured) worked at Allianz GI for 12 years where he managed global UK and equity mandates including the Brunner investment trust. Brunner's Thomas: The Chinese sectors still ripe for growth Prior to this, he worked at ISIS Management (now part of F&C) and Schroders, having begun his City career in 1996. He left Allianz in June and his role was taken over by Allianz GI chief investment officer Lucy Macdonald.
