Candriam appoints chief strategy officer to expand growth plans

Candriam Investors has appointed Elias Farhat as chief strategy officer to accelerate the group's growth plans.

Farhat started his career at Bain & Company, advising companies in Latin America, Europe and the US on strategic, operational and financial issues. Candriam unveil eight-strong fund range for UK wholesale market He was also a founding partner at Velocity Advisors before becoming a partner at Capital E Advisors. In a statement, the group said Farhat will manage the firm's external growth opportunities while exploring other initiatives relating to Candriam's global strategy.
