Brown Shipley has appointed Ryan Caines from Investec Wealth & Investment as a private client associate in its Edinburgh office.

Caines was an investment assistant at Investec Wealth & Investment, and prior to that worked at Winton Capital Management as a research assistant. In the private client associate role, he will report to Charles Fotherinham, head of Brown Shipley's Edinburgh office. How can wealth managers do more to meet suitability requirements?
