LGIM hires AXA IM's Gray as head of wealth management

Legal & General Investment Management has appointed Stephen Gray from AXA IM to the newly created role of head of wealth management.

In his new role Gray will be working with wealth managers, stockbroker and fund-of-fund clients to extend LGIM's wholesale proposition. He will report to Simon Hynes (pictured), head of UK retail sales, who joined LGIM from Jupiter last summer. Prior to joining LGIM, Gray was head of discretionary clients at AXA Investment Managers where he had worked for 17 years, having begun his career at Framlington Unit Management.
