Leaving after seven years

Aviva Investors senior sales director Simon Clark has left the firm after seven years, Investment Week understands.

Clark joined the firm in January 2009 from his position as discretionary sales director at Gartmore where he worked for three years.  At the time of his departure last month, Clark was working as head of wealth manager sales and senior wholesale sales director. Last month, the firm also lost its head of multi-manager research Ian Aylward who had been at Aviva Investors for five years while David Lis, chief investment officer for multi-asset and equities retired from his full-time role in March. Aviva said it could not comment on individual employees.
