AXA IM to launch UK multi-cap fund for Thomas and St John

AXA Investment Managers is launching an unconstrained multi-cap UK equities fund for Chris St John alongside industry veteran Nigel Thomas.

The AXA World Funds Framlington UK fund will take an unconstrained multi-cap approach with a structural bias to mid-cap and small-cap companies relative to the FTSE All Share index, and will seek undervalued growth opportunities using a bottom up selection process. Set for launch on 2 March, the Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV will be managed by St John (pictured), who will also continue to manage his £149m AXA Framlington UK Mid Cap fund.
