Schroders sees £8bn inflows despite market volatility

19% rise in inflows in first nine months of 2015

Schroders saw net inflows of £8.3bn in the first nine months of the year, despite heightened market volatility.

The asset manager's inflows rose 19% in the first nine months of 2015 from the same period the previous year, when it saw £7bn in net inflows. The group has also seen a 21% increase in profit before tax, from £364m in 2014 to £439m in the first nine months of this year. Assets under management have jumped from £276bn to £295bn, as the firm weathered market volatility that has hit many of its peers across the market.
