Columbia Threadneedle's Harrison hands income fund to Colwell

Columbia Threadneedle Investment's Leigh Harrison has handed the management of the £3.3bn UK Equity Income fund that he has run since he joined the group in 2006 to co-manager Richard Colwell.

The group's head of equities Harrison (pictured) will become deputy manager on the mandate, with Colwell taking the lead role. Harrison's responsibilities as co-manager on the £906m UK Equity Alpha Income fund, which he launched in 2006, and £114m UK Overseas Earnings fund, will remain unchanged.
