OMGI to launch global income fund for Heslop

Old Mutual Global Investors is to launch an offshore Global Equity Income fund for head of global equities Ian Heslop.

Heslop will be run the fund, scheduled for launch this summer, alongside Amadeo Alentorn and Mike Servent. The pair also co-manage the onshore £260m Global Equity mandate with Heslop. The new fund will use the same investment process as the growth-focused vehicle, but with a focus on income. It will aim to provide a monthly income 30% higher than its benchmark, the MSCI All Country World index.
