Former analyst returns to Russell Investments as head of currency

Russell Investments has re-hired its former senior analyst, Van Luu, to head up its currency and fixed income strategy desk.

Luu will be based in London, reporting to Andrew Pease, global head of investment strategy, and will be responsible for formulating the group's views on the outlook for currency pairs. He will also work with the currency management and trading business to develop currency hedging solutions used by the group's funds and clients. Luu joins from Norges Bank Investment Management, where he was a senior analyst for investment policy and allocation strategies, having previously worked as a senior analyst in the global strategy team at Russell Investments.
