Ex-AXA IM fixed income head Zemek joins BlackRock

AXA Investment Managers' former fixed income head Theo Zemek has taken up a new non-executive role at BlackRock.

According to the FCA register, Zemek (pictured) has been appointed CF2 Non-Executive Director, officially taking up the role on 2 June. Zemek was global head of fixed income at AXA IM for six years and left her role in 2014, after stepping back from running money in 2011. She was tight-lipped on her future plans at the time of her departure and has remained outside the industry until now.
