Five funds for out-of-favour Asia equity exposure

With interest in Asian equity funds having dwindled in recent months as concerns over emerging markets escalate, Premier Asset Management's Simon Evan-Cook outlines the portfolios he still backs in the region.

While many parts of the emerging market and Asia ex Japan regions are overvalued, he believes there are still opportunities to invest in the region and avoid major pitfalls. Premier's Multi-Asset Global Growth fund has 14% in Asian equities and 16% in emerging market equities, unlike many peers that have sold out of emerging regions altogether.
