Aberdeen Asset Management's head of North American equities Paul Atkinson will be leaving the firm at the end of June.
The Philadelphia-based manager has resigned in order to return to his family in Europe. The group's £354m North American Income trust will be handed over Ralph Bassett, who will also become head of North American equities; and Fran Radano, senior investment manager in the team. Hugh Young, global head of equities said: "It will be sad to see Paul Atkinson go, but he will leave in June with our thanks and best wishes for the future.
