Former Jupiter head of private clients Andrew Clark has become head of Rathbone Private Office after the company completed its acquisition of Jupiter's private wealth business.
Clark, who joined Jupiter in 2012 from Schroders Private Bank, will attempt to push Rathbones further into the ultra high net worth space in his new role. Defined as clients with between £10m and £100m in assets, Clark will report to Rathbones chief executive Philip Howell. It follows the firm's £40m acquisition of Jupiter's private client business, a deal which completed on 26 September.
