WMA chief May to step down later this year

Tim May, chief executive of the Wealth Management Association (WMA), is to hand over the role to Liz Field later this year.

May has been head of the trade body for four years, during which time he oversaw the transformation of the WMA from the Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers (APCIMS). He will begin the handover of the role on 1 September. Field, a well knwon figure across the financial industry, stepped down from her previous role as chief executive of the Financial and Legal Skills Partnership at the end of last year.
