Schroders hires former FSA director Sheila Nicoll

Former Financial Services Authority director Sheila Nicoll has joined Schroders as head of public policy.

Nicoll (pictured) worked at the FSA between 2007 and 2013 as a director in the retail firms division and then as director of conduct policy. Following her departure from the FSA when it became the Financial Conduct Authority last year, she joined EY (formerly Ernst & Young) as a senior adviser, assisting with public policy and regulation.  She will now join Schroders in a newly-created role as head of public policy, reporting to executive vice-chairman Massimo Tosato.
