Brewin promotes Foster to head of research

Brewin Dolphin has promoted Guy Foster to the role of head of research, following the departure of Matthew Butcher last year.

Foster (pictured) will now head-up Brewin's 20-strong research team, which covers all major asset classes. He joined the firm in 2006 as an analyst and was promoted to head of portfolio strategy in 2012, working on the development of the Managed Fund Service. Foster said: "We shall be seeking the deepest insights and clearest strategies to build the optimum investment solutions for our clients."
