F&C's head of UK retail exits

F&C Investments' head of UK retail John Yule is to exit the business next month.

He has previously been a sales director at Thames River, and has held sales roles at F&C since 1994. F&C said his responsibilities will be taken over by Rob Thorpe, who joined F&C in December after a brief stint at Sarasin, to take the role of head of consumer. He is responsible for the sales and distribution of F&C's retail funds, and investment trusts in the intermediary market, reporting to head of client management Mandy Mannix.   Previously Thorpe spent nine years at Cazenove Capital as head of UK retail before it was acquired by Schroders.
