FCA investigates forex market

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed it is investigating firms in relation to trading on the foreign exchange market.

The regulator said the process is at an early stage and involves a number of firms, some of which may face enforcement action as a result of the investigation. It said in a statement it is working alongside other agencies to uncover possible failings. The FCA said: "We can confirm we are conducting investigations alongside several other agencies into a number of firms relating to trading on the foreign exchange (forex) market.
