Fidelity's Teera Chanpongsang is to hand over the group's onshore Emerging Asia fund on 1 November as he prepares to take over the £2.1bn South East Asia OEIC.
Chanpongsang (pictured) will continue to manage the offshore FF Emerging Asia fund, as well as related institutional mandates, but will no longer work on the UK OEIC in order to prioritise the South East Asia offering. He will be replaced on the Emerging Asia OEIC by Dhananjay Phadnis. Phadnis manages the Fidelity Funds Indonesia fund and has worked at the group since 2004.
