Octopus appoints Devey as non-exec director

Octopus has appointed former Prudential UK and Europe chief executive Rob Devey as a non-executive director.

Devey worked for Prudential from 2009 until stepping down in April 2013 when he was replaced by Jackie Hunt. He was responsible for developing the company's business in UK and Europe and boosting operational efficiencies and customer engagement. He has 15 years experience in financial services following senior management roles at Prudential and Lloyds Banking Group. He also spent time as a consultant for Boston Consulting Group in Europe and the US.
