Geffen takes over Neptune Russia Special Sits as Rice exits

William Rice, manager of the £1.7m Neptune Russia Special Situations fund, has left the company.

Founder Robin Geffen will take over the fund, which was launched at the end of 2012. The fund was launched to focus on small and mid-cap stocks, designed to run alongside Geffen's £336m Russia & Greater Russia fund, which has a bias towards larger companies. Rice, who was also assistant manager on the Russia & Greater Russia portfolio, joined Neptune in October 2010 as an investment analyst and oil and gas sector researcher.
