Bolton: I am disappointed but do not regret my return

Anthony Bolton has told investors he has no regrets about taking on the Fidelity China Special Situations trust, despite a "disappointing" run of performance.

The veteran stockpicker, who has announced his retirement, said the experience of managing the portfolio from his Hong Kong base was a fascinating one despite performance struggles. “This chapter on China has been the most interesting thing I have ever done,” Bolton (pictured) said, as he confirmed he plans to return to the UK once he retires at the end of March 2014.
