Former IMA chief Saunders joins Investec AM board

Former Investment Management Association (IMA) chief Richard Saunders has joined Investec Asset Management's board as a non-executive director.

Saunders (pictured), who was chief executive of the IMA for over a decade before retiring at the end of last year, will take up his position with immediate effective. Hendrik du Toit, CEO of Investec Asset Management said: "I was privileged to have worked with Richard while he was on the IMA  board and have the highest regard for his insights into the challenges facing our industry. We look forward to his participation on our board."
