Investec adds offshore version of Stopford's global income fund

Investec Asset Management has launched an offshore version of John Stopford's Global Diversified Income fund.

The Investec GSF Global Diversified Income fund is a Luxembourg-domiciled portfolio which sits in the group’s Global Strategy Fund range. The move to create an offshore version of the fund comes in response to demand from international investors for income, the firm said. It follows the launch of the UK-domiciled fund last September. The fund aims to provide a sustainable distribution yield estimated at 5.1% through investments across equities, high yield corporate bonds and emerging market debt.
