BlackRock's Bower joins Invesco Perpetual as White departs

Invesco Perpetual has hired David Bower as head of marketing for the EMEA region, after Rick White's marketing role was made redundant in November.

IP said this newly created role covers the responsibility for development and management of all marketing capabilities across the EMEA region. Bower joins from BlackRock where he was also head of EMEA marketing and held a number of senior distribution roles within the firm prior to that. He will report to Ian Trevers, head of distribution, who said: "This is a key appointment that positions us to develop our marketing capabilities to meet the needs of our clients, investment and distribution teams across the EMEA region."
