Update: Skinner exits Henderson and Peak relinquishes fund

Mark Skinner, director of European retail at Henderson, has left the business as part of the latest reshuffle at the asset manager.

Skinner, who joined the group in 2009 following its takeover of New Star, left the business at the start of January, the group said. Skinner is the latest well-known figure to exit the business, following the departure of Arno Kitts - co-head of global distribution - last year. Separately, the group said Stephen Peak, manager of the underperforming £439m Henderson UK Alpha Fund, is handing over his fund to Neil Hermon and James Ross at the start of February.
