Carmignac Gestion has hired Vincent Steenman from Zadig Asset Management to take over management of its Market Neutral fund from Maxime Carmignac.
Carmignac will hand over Carmignac Market Neutral to Steeman on 1 January 2013, at which point the former will take maternity leave. She will take on separate managerial responsibilities at Carmignac upon her return to work. Steenman will join Carmignac's alternative strategies team, working alongside Carmignac Euro Patrimoine manager François-Joseph Furry, having worked at alternatives manager Zadig for more than five years.
