SLI launches EMD fund for House

Standard Life Investments (SLI) has launched an emerging market debt fund for new hire Richard House, who joined the firm in July from Threadneedle.

House, head of emerging market debt at SLI, will be supported by Mark Baker and Nicolas Jaquier on the fund, his former colleagues at Threadneedle.   The managers will take a research driven, top-down view, focusing on country analysis. The portfolio will have an income focus but will also aim to deliver capital growth through investing primarily in US dollar denominated emerging market debt.
