SWIP replaces Troy with ex-UBS manager

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has hired Alan Bridges as a replacement for Graeme Troy, to head up the UK rates team.

Bridges has been appointed as investment director of UK rates and will be responsible for all aspects of the investment process. He will report to Graeme Caughey, global head of rates at SWIP. Bridges was most recently senior portfolio manager at UBS Global Asset Management, prior to which he worked in a number of roles at ABN Ambro, Morley and Citibank.
