Martin Currie hires ex JO Hambro sales manager Raby

Martin Currie has hired sales manager Phil Raby to spearhead the firm's intermediary business in the North of England, the Midlands and South West.

Raby will report to Alan Burnett, Martin Currie's director of UK intermediary business. He joins from JO Hambro Capital Management, where he has spent the past six years working as sales manager covering the north, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Raby previously worked at Aegon Asset Management for six years as a business development manager and Scottish Equitable for four years as regional investment sales manager.
