Walker Crips hires Rushton from BNP Paribas as CIO

Walker Crips Stockbrokers has hired ex-BNP Paribas wealth management chief Mark Rushton as its chief investment officer.

Rushton, who was previously head of offering for UK wealth management at BNP Paribas, will be responsible for promoting the growth and expansion of Walker Crips' private client business. In the newly created role Rushton, who will report to the group's chief executive Rodney FitzGerald, will also manage and develop the investment strategy at the group, getting it ready for RDR.
