Tomlins replaces Isaacs on M&G European High Yield

M&G has promoted recent hire James Tomlins to lead manager on its European High Yield Bond fund.

Tomlins will take over from Stefan Isaacs (pictured) as lead manager of the £78m M&G fund, with Isaacs becoming deputy manager. Over the three years to 18 November, the top quartile European High Yield fund has returned 46.6% against a 29.2% return for the IMA Global Bond sector, according to Morningstar. Tomlins, who joined M&G from Cazenove in June, will also become deputy manager of the £1.1bn M&G High Yield Corporate Bond fund, and will continue to report in to Isaacs. Isaacs will remain as manager of the High Yield Corporate Bond fund and the £970m European Corporate Bond fund...
