UPDATE: Fidelity to launch global equity income fund for Roberts

Fidelity has confirmed Eden Financial's Dan Roberts is joining to launch a global equity income fund when he lands in November.

Fidelity said the appointment has given the group an established equity income team, with Roberts working alongside Michael Clarke and Aditya Shivram. Roberts will report to Paras Anand, who will join the group early next year from F&C. Roberts has left the boutique less than three months from joining the firm with ex-Gartmore colleague Leigh Himsworth.
