BlackRock has appointed Simon White from Allianz Global Investors' subsidiary RCM as head of investment trusts.
White had been head of investment trusts at RCM since 1997, and helped build the group's closed-ended business. In his new role he will be responsible for helping BlackRock develop its investment trust suite. White will report Jonathan Ruck Keene, who is the group's head of closed-end funds EMEA.
