Former GLG hedge fund manager Jason Mackay has joined digital agency Shout Digital.
Previously co-manager of GLG’s UK hedge fund, Mackay will act as an investor and adviser in Shout Digital, and will sit on the board of directors alongside Ian Baggett, founder and managing director of the Adderstone Group. He wil also work alongside Paul Walker, former Sage chief executive and current chairman of the group. The 15-strong digital team based in Newcastle, which launched 18 months ago, hopes Mackay's appointment will help push forward plans to open offices in London by the end of the year.
