Gledhill joins Zemek at AXA

Ex-New Star and Henderson fixed income specialist James Gledhill has joined AXA Investment Managers, as three staff leave the firm.

Gledhill, who was made redundant by Henderson earlier this month, has joined as global head of high yield and deputy head of credit within its global fixed income team. In his new role he will report both to Theodora Zemek, global head of fixed income, and to Graham Nicol, who heads up the credit department. Gledhill is also replacing Hannah Strasser as leader of the group's US credit team. US-based senior portfolio managers Anne Yobage and Thomas Kelleher are also leaving the firm.
