Manser to leave AXA IM in June

Chris Manser is leaving AXA Investment Managers at the end of June, to pursue other opportunities closer to his home in Zurich.

Manser, who is head of fund of hedge funds for the firm, will be replaced by Jon Bailie, global head of distribution, while the company finds a permanent replacement. A spokesperson for AXA said: "After four years at the firm, Chris has decided to leave for personal reasons. He made a significant contribution to our fund of hedge funds business." The firm recently launched its AXA World Fund Multi Alpha, which is registered for sale in Luxembourg and invests in Newcits funds, providing exposure to absolute return-style strategies for individual investors.
