PIMCO's Osses joins HSBC as head of EM debt

PIMCO's Guillermo Osses has joined HSBC Global Asset Management as head of emerging markets debt portfolio management.

Osses will head the emerging market debt team and will manage the group’s EMD strategies and funds, which include the $651m HSBC GIF GEM Local Debt, HSBC GIF GEM Debt Total Return and HSBC GIF GEM Bond funds. Osses replaces Peter Marber, who was appointed as an interim head of desk until the group found a permanent replacement following the departures of Denise Simon, Arif Joshi and George Varino.
