Threadneedle has appointed former Goldman Sachs executive director Irina Miklavchich as fund manager of its £129m Global Emerging Markets Equity fund.
Miklavchich will join Threadneedle's seven-strong Asia (ex Japan) and global emerging markets equities team, which manages £6.1bn of assets. Her appointment follows the promotion of Vanessa Donegan to the newly created position of head of Asia and emerging market equities in September last year. She had been Goldman Sachs' executive director in the principal strategies group since 2006.
