Brevan Howard's Philippe Lespinard is joining Schroders in the newly created role of fixed income chief investment officer.
Lespinard joins the firm on 1 November, reporting to Karl Dasher, the head of the fixed income business. He takes on direct management responsibility for the global multi-strategy fixed income team, and will chair the global fixed income investment committee, which oversees all portfolios in the group's range. At Brevan Howard, Lespinard was a partner and head of absolute return strategies. Previously he was chief investment officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
