M&G's Simon Bailey is relinquishing control of the £169m Smaller Companies fund next month after almost a decade running the vehicle.
Bailey, who is set to develop a new role within the group's global equities team, will hand over the fund to former Cazenove small cap manager Louise Nash. Nash, who joined M&G two years ago, has been working closely with Bailey and expects to make limited changes to the portfolio.
