Baillie Gifford has announced a series of changes to its retail sales team ahead of Ken Edwards' retirement in February 2011.
Grant Walker, who has worked for the firm for over 15 years, will become head of intermediary sales on 1 January 2011, succeeding Edwards. James Budden, who has been with the group for two years after joining from Witan Investment Services, will take on overall responsibility of the retail sales and marketing department. Edwards has worked at Baillie Gifford for 12 years but has worked in the industry since 1968.
