RWC Partners is set to launch two income funds for the trio of managers it poached from Schroders.
Nick Purves, Ian Lance and John Teahan will launch RWC Income Opportunities and RWC Enhanced Income in the coming weeks, based on the value-driven strategy that they ran together at their former employers. One key difference between the Schroders funds and the new vehicles is the Income Opportunities mandate is expected to sit in the Global Growth sector, giving Purves and Lance more flexibility to select stocks from outside the UK, as well as corporate bonds.
