Martin Currie's emerging markets manager Dariusz Sliwinski is leaving the firm after a 13-year tenure.
The manager of the group's £26m Emerging Markets Oeic will hand control of the fund to Kim Catechis, formerly the head of emerging markets at Swip, who joins on 25 October. Catechis brings with him five other ex-Swip emerging market managers including Jeff Casson and Alastair Reynolds. Martin Currie says it has been in discussion with Sliwinski for some time about his role and the development of the emerging market franchise.
