Fidelity makes internal hire as head of platforms

Fidelity has appointed Pete Burtonshaw as head of platforms with overall responsibility for both FundsNetwork and the DC propositions.

His hire will fill the gap left by former FundsNetwork head David Dalton-Brown who left in October last year. Burtonshaw joined Fidelity in 2008 and is currently head of technology (India) and head of proposition development. Immediately prior to joining Fidelity, Burtonshaw was MD of Praemium UK and set up and ran this start-up subsidiary of the Australian portfolio management services provider.
