Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has promoted Andrew Tunks to investment director for fixed income.
He joined Swip in November 2009 as interim director of fixed income to oversee the transfer of fixed income operations and £20bn of the £50bn assets from Insight to Swip. The process was begun in October 2009 and completed in March. As investment director, Tunks will report to Mark Connolly, the director of fixed income. Tunks's role will involve achieving operational efficiency, money market funds and active foreign exchange management.
