Janus Capital Management's Global Research Growth strategy celebrated its fifth birthday last week by beating its benchmark using an analyst-driven approach.
Adam Schor, client portfolio manager at Janus, says the team-led approach of the $10m (£6.6m) fund utilises 38 analysts’ best ideas, and is a complementary way of running money to manager-led portfolios, which Janus also manages. Since inception, Janus’s strategy returned 8.6% while the MSCI World Growth Index returned 4.%.
