Schroders to launch Asian version of Income Maximiser

Schroders plans to launch an Asian version of its top-performing Income Maximiser fund.

The fund, which subject to FSA approval will launch in June, targets an initial gross yield of 7% through an actively managed portfolio of higher-yielding Asian stocks with a covered call option overlay to enhance the yield. Richard Sennitt, manager of Schroder Asian Income fund, will be responsible for stock selection, while co-manager Thomas See will implement the call writing overlay.
